PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Father Robert Cedolia is on administrative leave after being accused of sexually abusing a minor when he was pastor of Our Lady of Joy Parish in Plum Borough in the 1990s.

The Diocese of Pittsburgh says it is the first abuse allegation against Cedolia, who's been in ministry for 41 years.

Before being placed on leave, Cedolia was priest-administrator of parishes in Clairton, West Mifflin, Jefferson Hills and Pleasant Hills. The Allegheny County DA has been notified of the allegation.

The Diocese of Pittsburgh asks anyone who has been sexually abused by a representative of the Diocese to contact the Office for Victim Assistance at 1-888-808-1235. If the victim is still a minor, contact the PA Childline at 1-800-932-0313.
