PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — The Stronger Than Hate T-shirts seen around Pittsburgh are now available for sale, with proceeds benefitting the victims of Saturday’s synagogue mass shooting, but the shirt's creator says to watch out for imposter shirts

Creator Chris Ithen of Ithen Global says the official shirts are available for purchase at all three Yinzers locations, at the Ithen Global store in Grove City and online at

Ithen tells KDKA Radio the genuine shirts will display the logo’s copyright and ones that are shipped will come with a card of thanks from the synagogue.

Proceeds go to the Tree of Life Synagogue and the Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh.

The shirts were initially handed out to community members following Saturday’s massacre.

Consumers should be aware of copycat tees being sold on Amazon; these are not sold by Ithen and KDKA Radio cannot confirm that any proceeds of those sales are being donated.
