PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Several dozen demonstrators took to Grant Street downtown  to show support for Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. They appeared in front of the Grant Building where U.S. Senator Pat Toomey has his Pittsburgh office. Some carried signs reading “#IBelieve”, “Real Men Believe Women,” and “Power to the Polls.”

Three women spoke about their own sexual assaults. Tracy Baton who organized the Women’s March on Washington-Pittsburgh and today’s rally said she was assaulted when she was just five years old. Baton is now 55.

Some said whichever way the Senate vote goes, they believe events similar rallies will help get people to the polls in November.
