PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020) - Federal and state prosecutors are warning teleconference hackers: you will be prosecuted.

The trend of “zoom-bombing” is taking off along with the use of virtual meeting programs, such as Zoon or Web Ex.

Hackers are infiltrating these meetings and posting pornographic and hateful material.

The FBI says attacks have targeted religious and minority groups and vulnerable populations such as Alcoholics Anonymous meetings that have moved online.

Teleconference hackers can face state and federal charges.
