Ten PA Cities Ranked Among America's 100 Safest

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Some local townships have been ranked among this year's 100 Safest Cities in America.

Peters (37), Cranberry (52), South Fayette (70), and Upper St. Clair (92) Townships all made the list by SafeWise.

Pennsylvania had the third most cities in the study that looked at local crime rates and trends through FBI data. 

New Jersey is home to the most — 30 percent — of the cities on the list. Connecticut had the second most cities and Hopkinton, Mass. Claims the title of America's Safest City.
