PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Seven cars in a Norfolk Southern train derailed Sunday afternoon, crashing down to the light rail tracks near the Station Square platform. Port Authority's predicting a long rush hour this morning for South Hills commuters.

UPDATE: - Due to safety concerns, riders heading inbound will be taking shuttle buses from South Hills Junction to First Avenue Station and then light rail cars from First Avenue to Allegheny Station..

- The Smithfield Street Bridge will be closed this morning along with West Carson Street while the train cars are removed, a process expected to take about 72 hours.

- A bus shuttle will serve the upper stations of the Mon and Duquesne inclines.
