PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A civil suit was filed Monday against the police officer who shot and killed 17-year-old Antwon Rose.  It comes from two young men arrested by Michael Rosfeld at his former job as a University of Pittsburgh Police Officer.

Last December, Rosfeld claimed Timothy Riley and Jacob Schilling started a fight inside the Garage Door Saloon, but video evidence later revealed the men did nothing wrong and the charges were dropped.

Attorney Robert Pierce says the treatment of the two men was unnecessary.

“They both were handcuffed. They both were put up against the wall. They both were escorted in a police car to a detention center and then spent the night in jail for something they did not do.”

Riley and Schilling are each seeking damages over $35,000 against the bar, the university and Rosfeld.
