PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Two days after a car crashed into a convenience store in Carrick, it was robbed.

Police say the Uni-Mart on the 1900 block of Brownsville Road in Carrick was robbed just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

The clerk told police a man broke into a “type of coin or game machine with a hammer, stealing the cash inside.”

No one was hurt and the suspect fled the scene.

Early Tuesday morning, a black Mercedes 4-Sedan crashed into the glass front door of the Uni-mart.

The car then backed out of the store and drove away. No one was hurt in that incident.

The crash was caught on camera but only the front of the car was seen so no license plate information was immediately available.

Both investigations are ongoing.
