University Of Pittsburgh Adds 10 New COVID-19 Cases

    PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) The University of Pittsburgh has reported an additional 10 cases of Coronavirus between students and employees.

    These cases are new cases as of July 2, and is split as six student cases and four faculty members.

    The new cases bring the cumulative number of cases since June 26 to 29 between students and staff.

    Of those 29 cases 13 have been reported as recovered.

    The numbers in the update do not recognize positive cases from University members who have not been on the campus in over 14 days.

    The University has instructed anyone who tests positive outside of the university to not return to campus until medically cleared.
