PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) — Liquid ibuprofen for infants sold at Walmart, CVS and Family Dollar stores is being recalled because it can have higher concentrations of medicine.

Adverse effects can include nausea, vomiting and tinnitus and there is a remote possibility of permanent renal injury.

No illnesses have been reported, but consumers should contact their physician if any symptoms develop. 

The ibuprofen, sold in half-ounce bottles, was sold under the Equate, CVS Health and Family Wellness brands.
