PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Current and former members of the Pittsburgh Steelers will take the court on Friday night for a charity basketball game.

They will face off against the faculty/staff at La Roche University and current players on the basketball team.

“They think they can beat these Steelers, but I’ve got to tell you, these guys are pretty competitive,” said Nick Vizzoca, Vincentian Collaborative System President and CEO, during an interview with KDKA Radio on Tuesday morning.

“They’re pretty serious about their basketball; which should make for a good night.”

The game will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia Chapter.

Tip-off is at 8p.m. at the La Roche University Kerr Fitness & Sports Center in McCandless. Tickets are $7.00.
