Whole Foods Expands Home Delivery Service To Pittsburgh

Prime members can now get Whole Foods items delivered to their door

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburghers now have even more opportunities to avoid going into the grocery store.

Local Whole Foods Markets shoppers won't need to leave the house to get their groceries.

Amazon acquired the grocer last year, and announced today grocery delivery is now available in Pittsburgh. 

Other cities that Whole Foods will now deliver groceries in include Cleveland, Louisville and Parts of New Jersey.

In release, Whole foods says pickup and delivery are available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. More information can be found at www.primenow.com

The service is available to Prime members in 53 total cities.

Giant Eagle and Walmart already have curbside and delivery services in the city.
