According to multiple reports, mitigation efforts were expected to be announced for Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington, Westmoreland Counties on Wednesday and that restrictions would be placed on restaurants and bars as a result of the recent rise in coronavirus cases in the region.

Allegheny County implemented its own one-week restrictions on dine-in at restaurants and bars. That order is set to expire Friday, but county health department director Dr. Debra Bogen says she will modify that order on Wednesday.
