Woman Dragged By Vehicle Was 'Searching For Ghosts'

She was dragged by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in in Kittanning Township over the weekend

KITTANNING, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A woman was dragged by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in in Kittanning Township, Armstrong County over the weekend.

State Police say the victim was out of her car "searching for ghosts" with friends around 2:30 a.m. Sunday near Little Germany and Campbells Run Roads.

Another driver, frustrated that the group would not get out of the way, hit the victim and her car.

Police say the victim was dragged 30 to 40 feet and sustained a brain injury.

The Tribune Review reports the suspect is described as a middle-aged woman with brown hair driving a 2006 or 2007 Ford Focus missing its passenger side mirror.

Anyone with information should call state police.
