On November 6th, 1916, Harry Houdini performed a death-defying, upside-down straight jacket escape high above the streets of Pittsburgh.

One hundred years to the day, Lee Terbosic took up the challenge himself and successfully recreated the event in front of a crowd of thousands.

In this magical episode of the Pittsburgh Oddcast, fresh from filming his Discovery Science Channel show “Houdini’s Last Secrets”, the nationally touring magician, escape artist and entertainer, Lee Terbosic joins us to talk about the history of illusionists in Pittsburgh, his magical obsession with Harry Houdini, what it’s like to hang out with David Copperfield and what magic means to each of us.
