KDKA Radio Anti-Drug Summit Audience Registration

KDKA Radio Anti Drug Summit

Newsradio 1020 KDKA is hosting another Anti-Drug Summit event which will feature a live broadcast  with Marty Griffin on Wednesday, November 14th between 9AM-12PM at the Orchard Hill Church in Wexford.  We will have experts on the opioid epidemic talking live with Marty Griffin during the program.

We are looking to have high school students join us as part of a live, partially interactive audience.

Arrival time for students or schools participating would be anytime between 8AM-9AM – the show is live from 9AM-Noon, with the event concluding around 12:30PM because we will have informational booths set up after the conclusion of the live radio show and lunch provided for the students.  Students can be bused in.

Our broadcast will contain a panel of experts on the topic of drugs. The topics we will be covering with them will be: the dangers of drugs, the importance of communication, ramifications and what you can do to help yourself and others.

Students will not have to speak and can just be in attendance, however Marty may ask students to speak and then they can raise their hand or approach a microphone if they want to interact with him. In addition, we would like to open up the event to any parents of students that would like to attend along with members of the community.
