Alan Black a Professor in the Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University joined Robert Mangino to talk about Carnegie Mellon using Bible readings to create multilingual dataset.  Professor Black tells Mangino that he has created a dataset that can be used to build text-to-speech computer systems and other modern speech technologies for so-called low-resource languages.
