Robert Mangino
Tuesday, November 13th
Postdoctoral Scholar at Pitt’s School of Medicine and UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Dr. Patricia Murungi joins Robert Mangino to talk about a recent survey of 1600 young people in Allegheny County where it was discovered that black teenagers are ten times more likely than their white peers to lose someone because of murder. There has been a significant association between having that traumatic loss and being more likely to have a suicide attempt.
