Remembering Dr. Don Fisher, AGH Cardiac Catheterization Pioneer

Dr. David Lasorda, Cardiologist, joins Mangino to discuss the life of Dr. Don Fisher, who established the region’s first cardiac catheterization laboratory at Allegheny General Hospital in the 1950s, served as its director for more than 3 decades, and worked at the hospital for more than 65 years. He continued to work and do research in his field until he was 99 years old. Dr. Fisher passed away at 100 years old.
